'prosecutor' ?
I was a bit shocked and confused when Mr Mark told the whole class about our activity where we need to be in a group and form premises to figure out who is Jack The Ripper. In other word , we have to be a lawyer in order to defend and prosecute suspected person. We were choosen 4 person in a group and constructed our premises in order to defend and prosecute Jack The Ripper.
As for my group , we defended James Kelly and convicted George Chapman as Jack The Ripper based on our evidences which we obtained from our background reading.I personally think that this task was a hard one but somehow i was grateful he commanded us to do this because it unravel our perception about being a lawyer.Obviously it was not an easy profession as i thought before.Everything need to be carefully inspected , the information and related evidences.Apart from that , I personally can imagine my class turned into a court room when the proceeding begins.
Last but not least , eventhough our case regarded as mistrial , i pays off my efforts because i gained information , new things and i had the opportunities to cooperate with my classmates and it was a cheerful memory for me.Besides that , i really hope that one day , Jack The Ripper's identity will be discovered.
Who is Jack The Ripper
Jack The Ripper is a serial killer who murdered and mutilated five prostitutes in the East End of London , Whitechapel around 1888 and because no one was arrested while the investigation , the case is still unsolved until today
Jack The Ripper is the name given to anonymous killer . Apart from that the assailant also was know as the Whitechapel Murder or "Leather Apron." . His name was originated from someone who sent a letter claimed that he is the murder.Besides that , the assailant was know as Jack The Ripper because of his modus operandi which is ripper-like .
Victims of Jack The RipperThese are the Ripper's victims that can be identified :
- Mary Ann (Polly) Nichols, murdered on Bucks' Row, Friday, August 31, 1888.

Forever Friends?
Recently i read an extremely interesting article about life. An article regarding friendship"Fickle Friends ' written by Kirsten Weir that told us about the ugly truth of relationship called friendship.Sometimes we never knew that our friend who would support us and lend their ear or hand when we are in need of those , would talk behind our back or maybe what we called backstabbing. That are few examples of Fickle Friends - Frenemies, someone who we cant leave and in the same time , someone who have the potential of bringing negativity into our life.
I would say i am very interested in this article is because it is related to my life. My childhood , my highschool life and even now. What i had experienced was well explained in this article. When i was in highschool , i transferred to many schools all around the state , rural areas and in suburbs.I met different kind of people and i have many kind of friends.Truth to be told , 80% of them were frenemies. The one who acted good infront of me and later on they disguised themselves and started rumours about me.They were both my friends and my rival . Have you ever experience this before ?
After reading this article , i have gained many knowledge about this particular thing , and no I know the reason why i was so depressed when i'm in my highschool. It was because of my fickle friends as what the author stated , this frenemies can bring negative effects on our physical and mental well -being and higher the risk of depression. This have been confirmed by respective researchers.
From my point of view , this article is the reality of our life where we have to be careful in selecting our friends because they will have big impact on our life.Furthermore,we also should not easily trust other people eventhough they seem to appear good with us because they might be our frenemies. Who knows ?
